Trifeca Contest

The Trifecta contest is desgined to be a very hard to pull off contest that will push us to fly new routes and fly the Owens more. In order to enter for a a given year you must write your name and the year on a $20 bill by the end of January. The pool keeps accumulating until it is won, and you must have put in for the year in question to claim the prize. Pilots who have never flown 100 miles can join the contest within 1 day of their first 100 miler.

The thing that makes this contest especially hard is that you have to do all of these three flights in the same season (Calendar year).

Current pool is $560. 2009 participants are; Lionel joins the fray on 6/28, but blows his glider up on 7/4..

2005 was an awful year for XC. Ronald Pulls the only 100 miler of the year on the last Owens trip (in 9 hours).
